A Diary Entry: Writing an English Complaint Letter About My Online Order
Today I had to write an English complaint letter regarding my recent online shopping disaster. The experience was so frustrating that I decided to document it in my diary.
The Incident:
I ordered a winter coat from FashionPlus.com two weeks ago, but received a completely wrong item - a summer dress instead! To make matters worse, the customer service was unresponsive when I tried to resolve the issue.
Writing the Complaint Letter:
I structured my English complaint letter with:
- A clear subject line stating the problem
- Details of my order (date, order number)
- Description of the issue
- Photos of the wrong item received
- My expected resolution
This experience taught me how important it is to know how to write a proper complaint letter in English, especially for international transactions. I hope the company will respond positively to my complaint.
