雾霾英语作文：一次难忘的雾霾天日记
令人窒息的早晨
今天清晨，我拉开窗帘时，眼前的景象让我惊呆了。整个城市被浓重的灰黄色雾霾笼罩，能见度不足50米。空气中弥漫着刺鼻的气味，我的喉咙立刻感到不适。这就是我们常说的雾霾天气，英语中称为"smog"或"haze"。
学校里的应对措施
到了学校，发现许多同学都戴着口罩。老师告诉我们，今天的体育课取消了，因为PM2.5指数已经达到了严重污染级别。在英语课上，老师特意安排我们讨论雾霾话题，要求我们用英语写一篇关于雾霾的作文。
我了解到雾霾的主要来源包括汽车尾气(vehicle exhaust)、工厂排放(industrial emissions)和建筑粉尘(construction dust)。这些污染物在特定气象条件下积聚，就形成了危害健康的雾霾。
雾霾对健康的影响
下午回到家，我开始查阅资料准备英语作文。我发现雾霾中的细颗粒物(PM2.5)能够深入肺部，甚至进入血液循环系统，引发呼吸系统疾病(respiratory diseases)、心血管疾病(cardiovascular diseases)等健康问题。老人和儿童尤其容易受到伤害。
