英语美文初中：一场夏日的回忆
7月15日，晴
今天是我在英语美文初中学习的第三天，窗外的阳光格外灿烂，仿佛在为我加油打气。早晨走进教室时，黑板上已经写满了老师精心挑选的英语美文片段，那些优美的句子像一串串珍珠，闪烁着智慧的光芒。
晨读时光
我们跟着老师朗读了泰戈尔的《飞鸟集》选段："Let life be beautiful like summer flowers and death like autumn leaves."（生如夏花之绚烂，死如秋叶之静美。）这句诗让我想起了去年夏天在祖母家后院看到的向日葵，它们总是那么执着地面向太阳。
The sunflower turns its golden face,
Following the sun's warm embrace.
Just like we chase our dreams so bright,
Guided by wisdom's shining light.
课堂趣事
下午的写作课上，老师让我们用英语描述自己最难忘的一天。我写的是去年参加英语美文初中入学考试的经历，当时紧张得手心都是汗。没想到老师把我的作文当作范文朗读，还夸我用了很多生动的形容词，比如"butterflies in my stomach"（紧张得胃里像有蝴蝶在飞）。
放学后的发现
回家的路上，我在校门口的梧桐树下发现了一只受伤的小鸟。它的羽毛是灰蓝色的，右翅膀似乎受了伤。我想起早上读到的美文中关于爱护自然的内容，便小心地用纸巾把它包起来，送到了学校的生物实验室。李老师说这是一只年轻的翠鸟，答应会好好照顾它。
